A Core Program of WWW WASHME TV, Inc.

💻 Digital Studio: Web and App Development

Participants learn to design, build, launch, and manage websites and simple apps for real local clients. Work is delivered on Netlify, and client revenue funds the program.

“I am worthy of wealth. I am capable of building.”

Our mission

Give low-income and minority residents of the Wiregrass–Black Belt a marketable tech skill, and give local small businesses an affordable, professional web presence.

Local, affordable, mission-driven web builders who train the next generation of Alabama developers. Every client project gives someone a career step.

A live business that trains

The Studio follows the same model as My Precious Lawns: a real business that doubles as a training lab. Clients get real websites, and trainees get real experience.

Built for our graduates first

Our food truck and lawn care graduates need websites, ordering and booking forms, and online payments. The Studio adds a fourth income-generating skill track to our Self-Sufficiency Development work.

Build to Earn: the 12-week training

Training seats are grant-funded or offered on a sliding scale.

  1. Weeks 1–4

Digital basics, HTML and CSS, branding, and client communication.

  2. Weeks 5–8

Build a real site on Netlify under a mentor's supervision.

  3. Weeks 9–12

Run a client project: price it, invoice it, and deliver it.

The outcome

A portfolio of real work and a path to freelancing or part-time work with the Studio. Trainee builders earn a stipend funded by client Care Plans.
